Frequently asked questions

Ordered by how often we actually get asked. If yours is not here, write to us — we usually answer the same day.

Will you remove a bad note for me?

No, and we turn that work down. Any service promising guaranteed removal is either gambling on appeals or doing something that breaks platform rules, and the risk lands on your page rather than theirs.

Two things genuinely work over time. Keep collecting real praise so one old entry stops moving your average. And answer that entry in public with restraint — the next customer usually cares less about the complaint than about how you handled it.

Is this fake review generation?

No. Three lines make that clear: the code only goes to people who actually visited; every sentence comes from options the customer ticked themselves; and the posting happens inside their own Google account. We never write for them, post as them, impersonate anyone, or buy or trade anything.

Could my Google page get penalised?

Not when used this way. What Google actually penalises is invented entries, conflict-of-interest entries, trading discounts or gifts for stars, and bulk manipulation. We do none of that and recommend against all of it — the gift-for-stars trade in particular is a trap plenty of local businesses fall into, and it can cost you the whole page.

Inviting genuine customers to say what they think is behaviour Google actively encourages.

Do customers need to download an app?

No. The built-in phone camera opens the page. Tick, copy, tap through to Google — about thirty seconds, no sign-up, nothing installed.

Can a customer say something critical?

Yes, and we kept that on purpose. The option list carries both “friendly staff” and “we waited a while”. Saying so honestly is their right, it tells you what to fix, and it makes the whole page look like what it is.

How do multiple branches work?

One record equals one Google business location. Under a single account you might have “Our Place - Flushing Main St” and “Our Place - Midtown” as two separate records, each with its own ID, QR code and helper page, kept completely apart.

How long before I see a difference?

There is no magic here — it tracks your footfall and how often you ask. What works: keep the card on the counter permanently and have staff add one line at checkout. Most businesses notice a change inside two or three weeks. A code stuck in a corner that nobody mentions works far more slowly.

Do you need my Google account password?

Never. All we need is the link you get by tapping Share on your business in the Google Maps app. We use it to work out your direct address and we never touch your account.

Do you support English-speaking customers?

Yes. The page and the drafts are both bilingual, so an English-speaking customer completes the whole flow in English. In a bilingual neighbourhood that matters more than it sounds.

What does it cost?

Nothing right now — accounts, locations, QR codes and drafts are all free. Later we plan to charge a small amount per generated draft. Pricing will be published and existing accounts notified before that starts. See the pricing page.

Can I see who wrote what?

No. Everything is published on Google under the customer own account. We keep nothing on our side that could tie a published entry back to a particular scan.

I forgot my password.

Write to [email protected] for now and we will reset it by hand. Our outbound mail port is currently blocked by the data centre, so self-service recovery goes live once that is restored.
