Review goal calculator
"4.5 stars within six months" sounds like a goal - but how many 5-star reviews a month is that? Four numbers and you know.
How the number is worked out
First the total: with a current average of c, n reviews already, and a target of t, the five-star reviews you still need is n × (t − c) ÷ (5 − t), rounded up. Divide that by the number of months you gave, and you have the monthly figure.
The maths assumes Google shows one decimal place: to display 4.5, a true average of 4.45 is enough. That is why this gives a smaller number than most calculators — and it is the number you actually need.
What to do with the monthly figure
The tool has only done its job once you turn that into "how many people to ask each week". Not everyone you ask writes one: ask ten and three or four landing is a good rate. So eight a month means properly asking five or six people every week.
Two things push the real number higher: not every new review will be five stars, and a burst of reviews in a short window can be filtered out. Give yourself more months rather than a tighter pace — collecting too fast is itself a risk.
Where the reviews come from
You have a number; the real question is where those reviews come from. For when to ask and what to say, the Review request script generator gives you three lines. For whether your target is realistic in your trade, check it against the Review pace estimator before you commit to it.
Starting from zero, the full ninety-day plan is in From 0 to 50 Google reviews in 90 days. If you already have a base of regulars, start with How to ask customers for Google Reviews.
Where the monthly number comes from
Working out how many a month is the easy part. Actually receiving them every month is the hard part — and what blocks it is never unwillingness.
In practice, ten happy customers, and often not one of them writes a review — not because they do not want to, but because it is a hassle, and typing it out is worse. Review Helper cuts that step to thirty seconds: the customer scans your code, ticks a few things they actually experienced, and the page turns it into a sentence in their own words. Copy, paste, posted. We do not ghost-write and we do not post for anyone — what they write, and whether to post it, stays their call. Three free reviews for every Google listing, nothing to pay up front, no card needed. No monthly fee: you pay per use.
