Missed reviews calculator

Ten satisfied customers often leave not one review between them. Not unwillingness - it is just a hassle. Count how many you served last week and how many wrote, because that gap repeats every single week.

How to use it

Two numbers: how many people you served last week, and how many of them left a review. It does not need to be exact — your own rough figure is fine, and being twenty per cent out does not change the conclusion.

The difference is how many people passed through your business in one week and left nothing behind. Multiply by 52 for the year. Most owners pause the first time they see the annual figure.

What that gap actually is

The important part: almost nobody in that gap was unhappy with you. Genuinely unhappy customers do not need asking; they write on their own.

The gap is the satisfied and silent ones. They paid and left, they forgot on the way home, or writing a review felt like a chore — open Maps, find the place, tap the stars, think of something to say and type it. The problem was never willingness. It was effort.

The gap differs by trade; for what a realistic month looks like in yours, check the Review pace estimator.

Making the gap smaller

Two things do it: ask, and make the act easy.

For when to ask and what to say, the Review request script generator gives you three usable lines. Making it easy means one link or one code that lands them in the right place: the Google review link generator and the Google review QR code generator. How big to print the code is the QR code size calculator.

The full method is in How to ask customers for Google Reviews. What those reviews add up to in money is in What a good review is actually worth to you.

One caution: ask everybody, not just the ones who look pleased. Asking only your happy customers is prohibited by Google, and the reasons are in Why you cannot ask only your happy customers.

Recovering that gap

Almost everyone in that gap was satisfied. They did not write because the act itself felt like too much work.

In practice, ten happy customers, and often not one of them writes a review — not because they do not want to, but because it is a hassle, and typing it out is worse. Review Helper cuts that step to thirty seconds: the customer scans your code, ticks a few things they actually experienced, and the page turns it into a sentence in their own words. Copy, paste, posted. We do not ghost-write and we do not post for anyone — what they write, and whether to post it, stays their call. Three free reviews for every Google listing, nothing to pay up front, no card needed. No monthly fee: you pay per use.
